Anything in the interior environment that seems at first glance trifling may become a unique decoration of living space. For example, a usual curtain tie-back, having been used before only for practical purposes, will become the exclusive particularity of your room.
1. Making preparations
Draw a cat on a fabric. Then cut two rectangular strips of equal size. Fold them in half and sew from two sides. Turn the strips inside out and sew the rest.
2. Sewing Velcro
Sew the Velcro part with hooks to one side of the strip, and to the other—with a nap. Do the same with the second strip.
3. Sewing the cat
Cut two identical parts in the form of a cat. Then sew them with seamy sides toward one another, leaving a small unstitched area. Turn the strip inside out and fix it as shown in the picture (these will be the cat`s arms).
4. Padding the cat
Pad the cat and sew the hole. You may cut out a heart from felt and sew it over the tie-back.
5. Adding the finishing touches
Wrap the tape around the cat’s neck and sew the edges. For making eyes, you may use the buttons. Lovely and unique curtain tie-back is ready!
